There comes a time when the one we love is no longer with us, their physical presence is gone, and we miss them.
A Funeral is a time where family and friends come together to celebrate that life, to review, to see the finer qualities, the sense of humour, the achievements, the love and compassion.
A Funeral Service generally runs for about 30 minutes. The customary format is:-
Introduction
Reading
Eulogy
Prayer or Reflection
Reading or Special Music
Committal
Forever Ceremonies has numerous readings for you to choose from or you can supply your own. It is acceptable to include religious elements. It depends entirely on what you wish.
The Eulogy can be prepared by me as a Celebrant, or by a member of the family. It is a most important part of the service.
During the Reflection family and friends come forward and place flowers on the casket. Often a prayer is said and people are given time to reflect.
The Committal may be in a chapel or at the graveside. If the deceased is an ex-serviceman the RSL Burial Ritual is used.
I like to spend an hour or more with the family so I can compose a meaningful service. It is my intention to give you all the attention you need. Please contact Colleen McLean Authorised Celebrant on 0425 206 374 or 4365 5607 or email foreverceremonies@gmail.com
